application:
Application
type: The first step
to complete an application for a license so that it can be positively assessed
by Engineers Ontario is
to show that this is an application for a new professional engineer (P.Eng.)
license. In case of being a past PEO license holder, you have to check the
reinstatement box and adhere to the instructions in your reinstatement letter
to complete this application.

Name:
Keep in mind
that your name will be shown on your license certificate. Therefore, you must
enter your full legal name exactly as on your proof of age and identity.
Put in your
date of birth and indicate your sex by checking the appropriate box.
2.
Age and
identity proof:
To become
eligible for an engineering license given by Professional Engineers Ontario,
you have to be at least 18 years of age. For the verification of your age and
identity, you need to include a photocopy (both sides) of a government-issued
identification document(s), specifying your complete name and date of birth.

Financial Credit Program (FCP) consideration, https://peo.on.ca/licence-applications/become-professionalegnineer/financial-credit-program you need to provide an identification document
to that you are a Canadian citizen or/and qualified to become a permanent
resident.
3. Present residence address:
You need to
give your current residence address, telephone number, and email address.
4. Academic background:
The following are the things you need
to mention to complete this unit:
Kind of earned
undergraduate (bachelor’s) and postgraduate (master’s, doctorate) degrees (for
example, B.A.Sc., M.A.Sc., Ph.D.);
The study
discipline
The date
(year/month) of all degrees were granted
Name and
location (city/country) of the degree-granting institutions

Good character:
Apart from the
educational and experience requirements, the Professional Engineers Act
mentions that a prospective license holder has to be of good character for the
license as a professional engineer. Answer the questions in this section by
checking the appropriate box. If your answer is ‘yes’ to any of the questions,
give details on a separate sheet.

Applicant’s
declaration:
Here, in this
section, you need to read and complete the declaration carefully before you
sign your license application.

Make sure that

a cheque or money order at this time, PEO will reach you to inform you when a
payment is needed and provide information on the way to be paid online.
If you checked
the box on the license application form showing that you wish to be recorded in
PEO’s optional Engineering Intern (EIT) program, do not include the EIT fee
with this application. An applicant who is qualified for the EIT program will
be invoiced separately.

mind: If this
application is approved, you will be informed about how to pay the application
fees. The application will not be processed and will be destroyed if fees are
not received within three weeks after you have been told to pay.
