Having told you about the AIPM Student
Membership eligibility criteria and its requirements and benefits, we are now
about to tell you about AIPM CPPM certification.
So, read it carefully, and prepare yourself for that.
CPPM
certification:
CPPM certification is earned by completing
an assessment task in which you compile documentary proof demonstrating the
AIPM’s CPPM competencies as in the Typical Evidence Guide PDF which can be sent
to you if you request. Having completed your Portfolio of Evidence, you need to
present it in a one-on-one interview between you and AIPM’s assessor.
You don’t need to have personally authored
all of the documents you submit in your Portfolio of Evidence. However, you
need to show that it is done and give oversight and guidance of the process.
Each certification level is
competency-based and consequently, the PM-Partners group program pays attention
to assessing and accrediting competencies earned over time using a formal
workplace assessment process.
The competency standards against which the
is given are based on extensive research into national and international best practices
in project management at the levels of work found in most private and public
sector workplaces. This research showed that these levels are equal to levels
4, 5 and 6 of the Australian Standards Framework (ASF) which, when in harmony
with the Australian Qualifications (AQF), are at Certificate IV, Diploma, and
Advanced Diploma levels respectively.
