The first step is to email Charteraltpathway@engineersaustralia.org.au and request it to use the Chartered via interview pathway. After that, attach your verified resume and completed self-assessment document.

The assessment authority Engineers Australia will review your verified resume, and if finding it acceptable, will give you access to the Chartered via Interview pathway within the online application system. On the other hand, if not accepted, you will be advised by email, which will detail other Chartered application pathways for you.

When you receive the alternate pathway approved notification, adhere to the prompts to enroll and give your payment, verified resume (again), and CPD Log.

You will be contacted for a suitable time for your professional interview, which will be taken via a video platform, like Skype. The interview will consume nearly an hour and will involve a wide discussion regarding your engineering career.

After a successful interview, you will get a mail notification, which will confirm your Chartered award and areas of practice. You will also have an official email soon after this.

Application criteria:

The following are the application criteria you need to fulfill:

1.   A minimum of 15 years of post-graduate experience

2.   The roles you had have to include major responsibilities in leading projects or teams

3.   Current membership grade of Member or Fellow

You need to satisfy the following criteria:
